Automotive Facility Service installs in-ground and flush-mount lifts for auto repair shops, dealerships, tire shops and detail shops across Long Island, New York City and Westchester. Our own crew cuts the floor, excavates the pit, pours the concrete and sets the lift flush with the floor. One company handles the job from start to finish.
Why go flush with the floor
- The bay floor stays clear when the lift is down, so you can walk, roll carts and park around it
- Low cars and sports cars drive straight on without ramps or scraping
- A cleaner, more open shop, which customers notice in dealerships and showrooms
- More usable space in small or narrow bays
What the job includes
- Site check: floor thickness, soil, drainage and where the power unit and lines will go
- Saw cutting and excavation of the pit by the AFS crew
- Forming and pouring the concrete to the lift maker's specifications
- Setting and leveling the lift, running hydraulic, air and electrical lines, and testing under load
- Cleanup and a walkthrough with your team on safe use
Replacing an old in-ground lift
Many shops still have old in-ground lifts that leak or have failed. We can remove the old unit, rework the pit and install a new in-ground or flush-mount lift in the same space.
Equipment we work with
We install and service equipment from BendPak, Coats, AccuDraft, Amgo, Tuxedo, OMER and other manufacturers, and AFS sells much of it from our Bohemia, NY warehouse.
Areas we serve
Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island and Westchester. See all service areas.
Frequently asked questions
What is a flush-mount lift?
A flush-mount lift sits in a shallow pit so the top of the lift is level with the shop floor when it is lowered. The bay looks and works like an open floor until you raise a vehicle.
Do you do the excavation and concrete yourselves?
Yes. The AFS crew does the saw cutting, excavation and concrete work in-house, then installs the lift, so you are not coordinating separate contractors.
Is a flush-mount lift good for low cars?
Yes. With nothing sticking up from the floor, low cars and sports cars drive straight over the lift without ramps.
Can you replace an old in-ground lift?
Yes. We remove the old unit, check and rework the pit, and install a new lift.
Where do you install in-ground lifts?
Across all five New York City boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester.
