Spray Booth Installation

Automotive Facility Service sells, installs and services automotive spray and paint booths for collision and body shops across Long Island, New York City and Westchester. We help you choose a booth that fits your building and your volume, install it, and keep it running.

Booths we install

  • Crossdraft, semi-downdraft and downdraft paint booths
  • Prep stations and open-face booths
  • Booths with heat and cure cycles for faster turnaround
  • Booth replacements and upgrades in existing shops

How a booth project works

  1. Site visit. We measure the space, ceiling, doors and exhaust route, and talk through your paint system and daily volume.
  2. Recommendation and quote. The right booth type and size, with a clear price and timeline.
  3. Permits and trades. Booths usually need building and fire department approvals, plus electrical, gas and ductwork. We coordinate with your contractors and provide the equipment documentation they need.
  4. Installation and startup. Assembly, lighting, fans, filters and controls, then a test run and a walkthrough for your painters.

Booth service

  • Filter changes and airflow checks
  • Fan, motor and burner troubleshooting
  • Lighting and control repairs
  • Relocating a booth when you move

Frequently asked questions

What types of spray booths do you install?

We install crossdraft, semi-downdraft, side downdraft and full downdraft paint booths, plus prep stations, for collision centers, body shops, fleet shops and restoration shops.

What does a spray booth need in New York City?

Paint booths in NYC have to meet FDNY fire code and NYC Department of Buildings requirements, including fire suppression, exhaust and ventilation. Requirements depend on your building, so we look at your space and tell you what the project will need before you buy.

How much space do I need for a paint booth?

A standard car booth is roughly 14 feet wide by 27 feet long, plus room around it for doors, the exhaust stack and service access. We measure your shop and recommend a booth that fits.

Do you service spray booths after the install?

Yes. We handle filter changes, airflow and pressure checks, lighting and door repairs, and general booth maintenance so your finishes stay clean.

Which areas do you serve?

We install and service booths across all five boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester. See our service areas.
