Car Lift Installation

Automotive Facility Service installs car lifts for repair shops, collision centers, tire shops, dealerships and fleets across Long Island, New York City and Westchester. We supply the lift, check your floor and ceiling, install it, test it under load and stay with you for service and inspections afterward. Our team has been installing shop equipment since 2007.

Lifts we install

  • Two-post lifts, symmetric and asymmetric, from 9,000 to 18,000 lb
  • Four-post lifts for service, alignment and storage
  • Scissor and low-rise lifts for tire shops and tight bays
  • Alignment lifts and rack systems
  • Heavy-duty and mobile column lifts for fleets

We sell and install BendPak, Amgo, Tuxedo, OMER, Coats and other major brands. Already bought your lift? We install lifts purchased elsewhere too.

How an installation works

  1. Site check. We confirm ceiling height, bay width, power and concrete. Most two-post lifts need a solid slab, commonly at least 4 inches of 3,000 PSI concrete; we check yours before anything is ordered.
  2. Quote and scheduling. A clear price and a set install date, with the lift delivered from our Bohemia, NY warehouse.
  3. Installation. Anchoring, leveling, hydraulics, cables and safety locks set to the manufacturer's specifications.
  4. Testing and handoff. We cycle the lift, test the locks and walk your techs through safe operation.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a car lift installation take?

Most two-post and four-post lifts are installed in one day once the lift is on site. Multi-bay jobs, alignment lifts and installs that need new electrical or air lines take longer. We give you a set install date before we start.

What kind of concrete floor does a car lift need?

Most 10,000 lb two-post lifts call for at least 4 inches of 3,000 PSI concrete, and heavier lifts need more. Every manufacturer lists its own requirement, so we check your slab before the install and tell you if it needs work.

How much ceiling height do I need?

Standard two-post lifts usually need around 12 feet of clearance. If your bay is lower, as in many Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens garages, there are low-ceiling two-post, four-post and scissor lifts that fit.

Which lift brands do you install?

We install BendPak, Amgo, Tuxedo, OMER, Coats and most other major brands of two-post, four-post, scissor and alignment lifts.

Which areas do you serve?

We install lifts across all five New York City boroughs, Nassau and Suffolk counties and Westchester. See our service areas.
